Alexander Degenhardt, a Marine Cpl., made a commitment to go through with a bone marrow donation that will happen in the next 6 months. He credits karma for what happened next.

26 year old Degenhardt, who is stationed in Washington, D.C., was in Las Vegas with some fellow Marines for training at Nellis Air Force Base. He had a few hours to kill before his return flight, and ended up playing the penny slot at the Bellagio, which takes bets from 40 cents up to two dollars.
